It is my great pleasure and honor to invite you to International Dental Materials Congress 2020 (IDMC2020) which will take place on November 1st and 2nd, 2020 in Taipei.
IDMC2020 is jointly organized by The Japanese Society for Dental Materials and Devices and Taiwan Academy of Operative Dentistry, and co-organized by National Taiwan University School of Dentistry. The conference will cover all aspects of dental materials science, consisting of a highly interesting program with keynote lectures and abstracts. Many researchers from the field of dentistry and engineering, clinicians and company representatives get together to provide an environment for stimulating discussion on dental materials science. IDMC2020 can be a wonderful opportunity to present updated research outcome, learn cutting-edge knowledge and technology, and exchange new scientific information, and it also works as a platform to communicate with diverse people and make friends internationally.
Venue for the conference is located in the city center and a perfect place to enjoy many tourist spots in Taipei.

Dear Colleagues, Excellences, Ladies and Gentlemen,
On behalf of the Taiwan Academy of Operative Dentistry (TAOD) and National Taiwan University (NTU), it is a true pleasure for me to welcome you to attend the International Dental Materials Congress 2020, which will be held in conjunction with the Japanese Society for Dental Materials and Devices (JSDMD) from Nov 1-2, 2020 in Taipei, Taiwan.
The International Dental Materials Congress (IDMC) has been held in a different country every four or five years since 1988. It is a global platform for all the experts and dentists to share an insight into the recent researches and to learn about the latest innovations, applications and valuable knowledge of dental materials from each other all around the world.
The theme of 2020 is “Step Ahead toward the Future of Dental Materials Science”, which aims to explore the novel knowledge and technologies for development and applications of dental materials. Through the congress, we would like to engage with all of you with professional idea exchange, research discussion, and future collaborations through the talk. I am sure that you will find the sessions interesting and informative and positively, the congress will benefit to your needs, advance the future work and study, and facilitate the application of research findings.
While in our city, I encourage participants to explore the beautiful sceneries and the incredible attractions in Taipei, including: National Palace Museum, Yangmingshan National Park, Taipei Botanical Garden, and more. In addition, Taipei is one of the best cities in Asia for indulging one’s appetite. You will never fail to discover tons of amazing local dishes in this “food paradise.”
